Elan Buan (B.Comm.)

About:
Elan joined Schollie Research & Consulting in 2000.  She is extremely adept at uncovering highly valuable strategic information through research, and can manage large amounts of data to distill essential findings in a meaningful and concise fashion.  She is passionate about helping clients and she thoroughly enjoys research.

Elan earned her Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Saskatchewan and specialized in the disciplines of marketing and human resource management / organizational behaviour.  Elan has previous experience in the transportation and financial services sectors.

Attitude:
Enthusiastic and upbeat multi-tasker with a creative flair for finding solutions.

What Else?
Elan enjoys sharing her talents with other organizations.  She helps coach cross-country skiing in the winter and assists with other youth programs.  She is a sought after board / committee member and splits her time among several organizations in her community.

Bruce Schollie (B.Sc., M.B.A., CMC)

About:
The founder, Bruce Schollie B.Sc., M.B.A., CMC is an accredited management consultant through the Canadian Association of Management Consultants.  Bruce earned his MBA from the University of Manitoba and Bachelor’s degree from Brandon University.

Prior to his consulting career, Bruce spent 6 years as a marketing analyst and product manager for a $70 million/year, Winnipeg-based consumer goods business.  He has also taught a variety of business administration courses at Red Deer College.

Attitude:
Driven to ensure clients’ needs are met and results are achieved.

What Else?
Bruce is a past president of the Red Deer Chamber of Commerce, is active in the community as a Scout Leader, and enjoys taekwondo.

In 2019, Bruce received a Mayor’s Recognition Award under the Community Builder category. Mayor’s Recognition Awards honour those who ‘make Red Deer proud.’
